It’s time for some changes in the 360 liter Tropic Marin tank. New ideas and concepts for the tank are in the works, and for those to happen, it needs an overhaul.
The first is to remove any unwanted coral to make space. That’s easy enough.
The next part is to prepare the actual livestock that we want in the tank, to be transferred to new rocks.
For this purpose I begin by making coral foundations in cement. I will transfer corals to these, so they are more easily managed, moved and mounted again.
The first corals to be mounted on these are the euphyllia.
Doing these changes feels refreshing and exciting.
Just what I needed!
Have you ever gotten renewed energy after doing changes?
